"Tenkyouin only glanced up briefly from her cluttered desk as Anri aimlessly wandered in before returning to her work."

"Though Anri normally didn't pay much attention to her surroundings, she knew that now was the time her friend worked on her experiments and research, so, not saying anything more, she sat down in a nearby chair."

"--After a little while, there was a sound like a motor turning, once, twice... and then a popping noise filled the room."

"...Failed."

"Since that troubled murmuring was a fairly usual occurrence, Anri felt that it might be a good time to try her greeting again."

"Hey, Kanae-san?"

"Morning, Anri."

Anri
"It's a little late in the day to be saying 'morning'."

Tenkyouin
"...Really? Thanks, when I get caught up in my work, my sense of time slips away."

"So, did you find something?"

Anri
"Nope. The way to do it is, wait until the weekend to start collecting."
